Custom Homes
If a custom home is what you want, we will create a plan that meets your budget, taste and lifestyle. Included with the initial concept drawings is a site-specific preliminary cost estimate. If your ideas have diverged from your budget, you will know early on. Our suggestions and guidance will help get you back on track. You will work directly with Carol Ann throughout the process to insure that your personal sense of style is represented in the house.
Tailored HomesOur semi-custom home process is a unique hybrid, offering you the opportunity to customize and make minimum changes to a plan from our Zinn-designed library of plans. You save time and money, but you still have a special Zinn home which expresses your desires.
With both Custom and Tailored methods, you have the choice of building on one of our lots (See Communities) or on yours.
Remodels and AdditionsThe name Zinn has been synonymous with designing and building fine homes, remodels and additions in Chapel Hill and beyond since 1978. Our new homes are visible examples of our work, but our remodels are often hidden gems. Zinn remodels and additions, more complicated and challenging than building new homes, receive the same professional execution and high standards as our new homes. We assess your aesthetic desires, budget requirements, and existing conditions. We present our concept for your remodel or addition, together with budget information. Our skilled team executes your project, and your home feels like new.
